Alaska product-liability law applies strict liability to sellers and manufacturers of defective products under Alaska Supreme Court precedent adopting § 402A of the Restatement (Second) of Torts. Parallel negligence and breach-of-warranty theories are also available. The 2-year personal-injury statute of limitations in AS 09.10.070 generally applies.
