Product Liability Laws in Wyoming.

Wyoming recognizes strict products-liability actions under Restatement (Second) of Torts § 402A (Ogle v. Caterpillar Tractor Co., 716 P.2d 334 (Wyo. 1986)). Product-liability claims may also be brought under negligence and breach-of-warranty theories. The statute of limitations is 4 years for personal-injury claims (Wyo. Stat. § 1-3-105(a)(iv)); UCC warranty claims, 4 years (Wyo. Stat. § 34.1-2-725). Wyoming applies modified comparative fault (51% bar) under Wyo. Stat. § 1-1-109.
