Oklahoma imposes a graduated individual income tax with a top rate of 4.75% (2024). HB 2041 (2024) enacted a phased reduction toward a future flat rate. Sales tax is 4.5% state + local (combined rates commonly 8-10%). Corporate income tax is 4%. Oklahoma repealed its estate tax in 2010. Oil-and-gas production generates significant gross production tax revenue. Property taxes are among the lowest in the U.S. by effective rate.
