Domestic Violence Laws in Vermont.

Vermont domestic-violence practice runs through the Family Division of the Vermont Superior Court. The principal civil remedy is the Relief from Abuse Order under 15 V.S.A. § 1103. Vermont recognizes stalking and sexual-assault protection orders under 12 V.S.A. ch. 178. Vermont also operates an Address Confidentiality Program (Safe at Home) for survivors under 15 V.S.A. § 1150 et seq.
