Nevada supplements federal benefits through the Nevada Department of Veterans Services (NDVS), which operates the Northern Nevada State Veterans Home (Sparks), the Southern Nevada State Veterans Home (Boulder City), and a statewide network of Veteran Service Officers. Nevada offers a property-tax exemption for disabled veterans. The VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System (Las Vegas) and VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System (Reno) serve Nevada veterans.
