Wrongful Death Laws in Nevada.

Nevada's wrongful death statute permits recovery by the heirs or personal representative. Damages include funeral and medical expenses, loss of probable support, loss of society and companionship, loss of consortium, and pain and suffering. The 2-year statute of limitations runs from the date of death. Nevada's 51%-bar modified comparative fault applies to wrongful death actions. Punitive damages caps under NRS 42.005 apply.
